out of no where this afternoon, i start my car and when i release the clutch pedal, regardless if its in gear or not, makes this loud "click". the clutch still seems to work ok but it almost sounds like something is "poppong" out of place or somethin.please help me trouble shoot, thanks

is it coming from the tranny or pedal area?
If its the tranny...may be the release fork, the spring on it. Happened to mine. had to drop the tranny, and pop it back into place. Its no fun.

 

dammit, i think its in the tranny, what causes that to happen? cuz it was fine before, i start my car an hour later and started clicking right when i let the clutch engage. this is BS. is there anyting alse it could be?

 

look at the slave cylinder area, maybe grease the piston on it. or the release bearing could be sticking.

 

the noise is at the end of engagement of the clutch. its pretty much fully engaged when it makes the sound. could that really be a throw out bearing?

A throwout bearing will normally give you a lot of warning before it dies. Usually it sounds like a medium pitched "whirrrr" right as the clutch engages or disengages. The release fork theory sounds more likely.
