I'm pretty sure it's a lot like swapping in an h22a... I've only seen one 6th gen Accord with the SiR motor. But, why spend all the extra money on the f20b? If I remember right, the f20b checks in with 200hp and 145ft-lbs of torque. The h22a already has the same hp and MORE torque...

I'd rather get the h22a and save all the extra money. Besides, I'm assuming there's tons more aftermarket support for the h22a than the f20b. (Although some parts may interchange... I don't know though)

Well I found a F20b for $2k...I realize the loss in torque to the H22 but it does have a certain coolness factor to me...And I thought it may be easier than a H22 to get in...

2k? lucky bastard... lol j/k. Go for it man. see if you can find some write-ups on both the f20b and the h22a for the 5th gen and compare the two. it should give you a pretty good idea what it will be like on the 6th gen. (again, i'm pretty sure it's almost the same. maybe just some wiring issues...)

The 6th gen is pretty heavy for only 145 lbs of torque. You will feel your car underpowered under 6000rpms.

why you would want to give up .3l of displacement I have no idea...

"coolness"? please...

if someone popped open the hood of a 6th gen and had an f20b in it, id probably laugh

Get informed before making a fool of yourself.

You can have 300 hp in an engine, but if it makes only 80lbs-ft, it will be completely useless and very annoying, because you will have to constantly rev your engine to a screaming rpm to get your car moving.

It's not hp that gives your car its get up and go, it's torque, and the F20B is down 8lbs-ft from the F23A4. Nuff said.
