Default tests for h22

i'm goin tomorrow to pick up my jdm h22, what are the results of all the tests they do on the engine that i should be looking for???

I think the leakdown is the better one, however, you need a compressor, the tool and the time to remove the cover, etc.

I'm not sure of the specs, but they should be available with a simple search of google or possibly here on the board. Usually if they are all within 5-10% of each other that's good enough, the actual spec from the factory will not be seen likely (it'll be a little lower), but unless the engine is not even holding compression at all and is blown to hell .....it shouldn't vary much from spec in EVERY SINGLE cylinder...

The tool I used for the leakdown test is connected to a compressor. It has two guages on it. For example, lets say that one guage displays 100 psi and the other 98 psi, you are 98% efficient, meaning that you have a 2% leak. There won't be an engine that is 100% efficient, but if it's less than 10-15% you might have issues.
