Ok..I was *just* introduced to this anime show called "Initial D". Now it's one of my favorite cartoon shows...right up there with the Simpsons. Anyways, is there an episode with an ITR or CTR or NSX? I've only seen a handful of "ACTS".

Wish they bring this over in english to replace Digimon or something...

 

The answer is NO. No Rs will not appear in the cartoon since FF is not a popular car among drifters. The only Honda appeared in I.D is EG6. Drifted by handbrakes, which is possible as I've seen G1 Prelude do some pretty sick drifts but it's much harder to do a back to back drift unlike the S-13, 14, 15s.

 

yea the only honda in initial d was the red civic hatchback from the "night kids" car club

 

Yeah, ID is great series. I saw the whole thing in a week (after downloading all 5 gigs of it hehe)

there's a Turbo ITR and 2 spoon civic.....one is yellow and one is white with carbon hood

 

Yeah that's probably in the 4th stage that was never released in the anime version. Sucks but oh well.

 

In the Comic book, there was a Spoon Civic Type-R and a Top Fuel ITR in #18. They are in the same team, comes out after the race with the R34 GTS and Miata.

It was Takumi Vs Spoon Civic and Keski Vs ITR.

Act 1 - 26 covers Comic book #1-10. So you've gotta wait a little.

There's actually a local guy who "converted" his AE86 to l00k just like Takumi's tofu mobile. I'll try to snap pix of it next time I see it.

On a side note I heard the movie they just realeased is coming on DVD soon.

 

stage 3 is available in dvd format, but only chinese subtitled

at the beginning of special stage (the one about the 2 girls with the sil-eighty) she races with another eg civic, but it's not the night kids one...

i got them from a local anime club htttp://www.animejyanai.com. they also have this trick series that's also car-related (not an initial-d ripoff though) that shows a subaru impreza sti, but it's all japanese and can't understand it at all

 

My dog's name is Takumi, no kidding. Just like the AE86 guy.
In the second pic, you can see how Takumi becomes totally "awake" when he is in the driver's seat!

haha initial d is a great show. i have all 26 eps on divx and watched all of em in 3 days. i was bored, i had nothing else better to do.

I wasn't gonna say anything.. since, i'm new.. but when it comes to "Initial D".. gosh... I can't resist just to say how good that shxt is.. Only got the Third and Extra stage.. can't wait for the other to come in ! hey, anyone can hook me up w/ the site .. so i can't d/led the 6 gig a week !!

 

i heard stage 4 is coming out in Japan or something and it should be ripped and on mirc to download in a couple months.. Just information I heard... I can't wait though.

I've heard of a 4th stage along with another OVA that has Nakazato, the R32 driver in it. If any of you want DVDs I'll post up a link to a site that sells all the DVDs with english subtitles from HK. It's like $50 for the whole first season.

 

i would like that if they have the movie in subtitled on dvd... the place i went to for everything else only has a subtitled one in divx format, but the video quality isn't good

 

I got the 3rd stage in english subs.. still divx but quality is pretty good. I think ripped off DVD.
