Default random track question

ok we gut the hell out of our cars to make them lightweight. then we build the motors to go fast. if my car is any faster than 11.99 then i need a roll cage. but if im like 11.8 without a roll cage then i wont be in the 11's with the heavy roll cage. anyone else have any thoughts?

how about making the motor more powerful to compensate for the added weight of the rollcage.

yes i know that. but what im saying is. if thats all ive got for that point in time id be pissed to go to the track and run one time and then have to add a few hundred more lbs and go slower and have to make up for that weight.

Seems like a simple question to answer. If you don't want to have to add a cage, drive slower. If you want to drive faster, add the cage. They're not "a few hundred more pounds."
