Default D-Series Question.

Yes, I've searched.

We have a stock bore D16a6 block utilizing ZC pistons and a Z6 headgasket. The compression should be 11.65:1. How much more power will 2.5 points in compression add? Stock intake and exhaust manifold due to the series regs.

Why didn't you go with the 89-90 D-16 A-1 pistons?

The ZC pistons were free.

Found out what happened to our old motor. We thought we threw a rod, but it turns out we siezed the wrist pin, which ripped the piston from the rod, which shot the piston into the head, which sent the rod rattling around and out the block in 2 parts. Thank god we have a sponsorship.
