take off your bumper and cut off the end of the stock airbox tube so that it wont take air from the engine compartment, and rather the fender well. Free cold air intake (i have this).
Also, strip out your car, it will go faster, be louder, and be less pretty!

I'll take care of your needs if I ever get the chance to meet up with you in person...hopefully me and my friend will be in Indy on Madison in a couple of Saturday's. Let's hook it up and I'll you have the low-down on whatever I ahve to offer.
get a itr 22mm antisway bar with either BSQ's or beaks mounting kit around 120 -130 makes your car handle like a new car. check on ebay there are numerous cold air intakes for around 100 bucks. short shifters are in that price range also. but to be honest there isnt much to do for 100 bucks.
I've seen AEM pulley sets around for about $90 + shipping.... if you can do the install yourself....that's pretty cheep HP recovery......
If you know someone with a timing gun, and knows how to do this ( a friend ), you can advance your ignition timing (will hafta use higher octane gas if not already
Hi flo Cat converters run about 120-130 installed.... some HP there... especially on a GS-R, if that's your ride...
Even a generic brand upper stress bar will improve rigidity in cornering... $40
Just don't buy a ricey $80 exhaust..... not even worth the $$
Fuzzy dice from Pep boys : $12.00
TYPE R sticker : $15.00
TYPE R shoulder pads : $20.00
Glowing LED winsheild
squirters and wheel valve caps: $70.00

You mean Type R stickers are bad?
I have 374 Type R stickers on my car... I just plastered the side of the car with them... I think it looks cool. It isn't rice.
I also have a POWERED BY APC sticker on my hood.
Are you guys saying that isn't cool???
HAAAAAAAAA
Please don't take that seriously.

well, if you only have $100 to spend on performance, how often are you going to have this $100, as in what is your budget? you could start saving, get some decent, yet inexpensive headers for near $300, a good cat back system for a little more, and do what they are saying with the intake. If you want to start pulling stuff out of your car, remember that every 100lbs accounts for 1/10 off your time at the track...
seriously, the best cheap mod would be the Cold Air Intake...get it for around $200, and you'll gain some mid and high end power. up to 15hp under certain circumstances, but prolly morelike 5 or 10hp. from there, i would save up and get a short shifter. lets say the other guy has the same mods, with an equal driver- but since you're shifting faster then guess what?! your car will be going faster! $150 for the b&m pro edge short shifter.
I can save up money to wait for mods... but I'm trying to get my wife into this... and starting off cheap is the best way to go for her. I want her to see what little increments of money can add.
I think I'm going to order the OEM kit from Radley Acura, because I can't stand the black side skirts. Yuck! That's $350, but considering it's painted, it's a good deal.

dont get ripped off by buying a AEM CAI, just go into your fender and cut it so it sucks in cold air.....same thing, and dont let them tell you the AEM will vortex the air or whatever.....bs
by the way, touch someones AEM CAI tube after they have been on the freeway....ouch thats hot! Plastics stay cooler.

I don't know about the dyno on a cut air box, but you can try it, it's cheep.... but I guarantee you will feel the diff with a AEM CAI.... And even some other CAI's out there....
