I have some HX wheels on the way and was wondering what color I should paint them or if I should. Please help me decide. I know I'm stuck

The choices are:
Red with polished lip:

(should look like this but not ls wheels )

Gun Metal:



Bronze with lip:


All Bronze:

im really diggin the tein green with polished lip i dont have a pic of it but it look real nice on sliver and white or black

 

since your car is red go with all black and polised lip

Thats soooooooo wrong. I just threw that red thing in there for the love I guess I will just leave them alone for the time being since that seems to be kicking all the other options asses. I do have a suspension that I'm buying from another HT member but I'm still waiting for him to get it off his car. Its a RS Spec Complete coilover system. Well, thanks everybody for the poll support. I'll post pictures after the wheels are on and its dropped

BTW, I really need a front camber kit so if you have one or know of a good online store of something to get one from, I'm all ears

 

What about gunmetal/polished lip?
What diameter are HX wheels, BTW?

 

Not sure of the diameter cause their still on the way with ups. But I really am unsure about a color right now so it seems pretty safe to leave them alone till I make up my mind. Also, Its nice to know that If I decide to sell them, they are not painted some crazy color where I can't get any money for them

 

personally, if you car is red, i would go with bronze or gold with a polished lip, but if you cant get the paint to stick right, it will look bad, go for what you want bro!

Go with gunmetal...either that or the bronze. I just picked up a set of HX wheels that were painted black, but i repainted them gunmetal and they look good, atleast to me and my friends they do

 

leave them silver, i had hx wheels on my 96 red hatch and they looked so good silver

 

thanks. I think what I'm going to do is leave them alone for a while and after like a week, I'll paint them bronze with a lip. (If I get another pair of HX or LS wheels, they WILL be red )

hell yea...chris' car representing.

Seriously...i would do the gunmetal or black over red or bronze. IMO it will look good with darker rims. Maybe even a dark bronze. The bronze in your pic looks like gold or something.

 

Gun metal looks GOOD, look like ITR's. Damn, now I'm thinking about getting me a set of HX rims, didn't know they looked this good.

Here is something i did in a couple minutes so it doesnt look very good but gives you an idea.



BTW...the cars origianl color is that dark purple color. You can see the original pics on the website.
