Not so difficult if you know what you're doing, just time consuming. You can do a rush job but it won't be as good.
Basically it's just ground, +12V, Immobiliser, central locking, siren, shock sensor and ignition wires. The time consuming part is running them all to an inconvenient place.

If you have to ask I would not attempt it You can cause yourself some serious repair cost by simply probing the wrong wire with the wrong type of test equipment or fry something by hooking into the wrong thing. Pay a few bucks and have it professionally done. Most alarms have a lifetime warranty IF in stalled by an authorized dealer.

Can you use a multimeter? Are you comfortable with cutting your ignition wiring? If not then don't do it. If you are willing to try, it is a pain in the ***. I spent 10 hours last saturday working on installing my alarm. It is not done yet

I blew my courtesy lights out. They work now though I still have about an hour worth of work left to do for remote start, and window module. I have some additional crazy stuff that I plan on doing later also. The alarm can be a project in itself.

BTW, this is the second time I have installed my own alarm. The first was several years ago. And I still hate it. But I have had 2 cars stolen, so from now on I will do my own alarms so I know that it is done right.
