Default Dual Exhaust

Hey everyone. My friend has a 6th gen accord sedan like mine. But its a 4cycl...and he wants a dual exhaust kinda. Straight pipe after the cat then a Y pipe for the two outlets...he wants to do 2.25 straight pipe then split it to two 1 or 1.25 pipes. He wants to know if he will lose any power at all? He really likes having two mufflers i guess...but if thats not the right way to do it can anybody tell me how he can do a dual muffler without losing anything? Thanks in advance.

smaller diameter on the piping, but at 2.25 it won't affect it too much. you'll lose a little but not a noticeable amount.

its going to suck and will most likely cause you to have weird flat spots on your power curve

the best dual exhaust on an inline 4cyl doesnt exist, the best exhaust is a single
