engine warm up time
my 95 VTEC been warming up to normal operating temperature quicker.
from overnight garaged to normal operating engine temp would take about 1-2mins of easy driving (3-4k rmp) or about 1-2miles.
never seen my temp guage go anything above normal, or have any heat problems, but i sure notice it's been warming up a lot quicker...
any reasons?
any problems?
more info: installed a new radiator like a year ago and i've been using the orange prepstone coolent 50/50... living in FL for about 4 years... 160k miles engine

Actually, 2-3 mintues is not necessary. 30 secs...is fine for the normal 9 months...and at most 1 minute for the winter.
The key thing is to keep the RPMs low when initially driving. Keep it under 2500 and you should be fine. Actually, it is recommended to do it this way.
Letting it idle for longer is not good for the car. Idling=low oil pressure.
