Does the hondata rom editor work similar to uberdata to where I could use a burner to burn chips and just edit what i need with the rom editor software?

 

Yes, but you'll need all the additional supporting hardware to go along with it.

 

Sure, But hondata 'files' are have the code hacked, to do all the stuff you need,
like boost, nitrous, big injectors and good stuff,
but they also add a 'dongle' look-up to the file as well.

At startup the chip will check if the dongle is attached.

The dongle is the little blue box that tells the chip you paid Hondata their cut...

No dongle = limp mode.
