wow...I'm surprised...Usually there are people on this board who would gag at the thought of putting cruise control on their Rs...that's like a Sin or something...hahaha...
But hey, I learn new things everyday...
D, is it very complicated? Like I know you have to install the switch on your steering wheel and stuff like that...

Yeah, mad props to D for A) Suggesting this B) Finding a place that had 2 and gave us a good deal C) Figuring out the wiring, etc. and D) Doing most of the work while i fetched tools and asked stoopid questions. Our cars are our daily drivers, and on 2+ hour trips it's an absoulte lifesaver, plus it has the added bonus of keeping you at a particular speed, rather than you glancing down to see the needle hovering above 100 right before the blue lights start flashing over that blind hill.
As mentioned, check our site for pics and comments, it works perfectly, just like it did in my GSR. kw00z r00lz!

actually, i've got some **** for installing it in my R... but fug em... total weight added was less than 5 lbs... and benefits seriuosly outweigh it.
well, i can't remember what i said after i finished it... i think i swore a lot, kinda a pain in the ***, but not technically difficult.... you gotta like lying on your floorboard for quite some time..
list of necessary components is on our site, any specific ?s email me.

will,
have you done it to your car? I'd like to do it, but not without some local input...
and assuming i do all the work, how much do the parts cost?

I need to finish the wiring... all hardwear in in the car...
IMO the hardest part was the pedal assembly...
Give Larry a call at IAS and see what he has to say about the price. All of my stff was included in a package deal with some other items.
Drop a IM if I can help any more.

Yeah, the pedal is a complete and utter pain in the ***. On D's he was griding away at the spot welds with all the dremel bits we could muster, talk about 2 hours of uncomfortable motion with what we came to call "tyrannosaurus arms" (not alot of space in there)....for mine, i sprung for a 12 dollar titanium-eating drill bit, that went through the first weld so fast that it sunk two inches into the wood block we had protecting my floor. The side weld took a little more work, but that one went much faster than origionally. That pedal was the worst, and the OEM cruse brain bracket kinda sucked. The rest just took some time, and the wiring just took some brains and solder (both courtesy of D
