i am having a hella hard time finding a 3in exhaust system for my 98 turbo'ed lude running 5 psi f-max kit ...tuned

 

i have a universal rollhard muffler and just had 3" piping bent total cost was about $350... sounds nice and deep...

 

i can't find any shops in my area to do the bending..so i just called uop midas...and they said that they don't mandrell bend...they only crush bend...but the guys siad that he bends the pipes fine..with no kinks ...should i believe him or what...what do you guys think?

 

mine is crush bent and it flows fine... not sure how much of a difference the mandrel bend would make though. if you wanted you could always by some 3" mandrel bends from JC Whitney and have the shop weld them.

 

didn't know jc whitney made mandrell bends...im going to check them out first before i go w/ crush bent ..

btw, i wonder how much of a difference it really makes between the to???
