Which is better. has more pull etc? I recieved a 98 ex tranny intrade for some stuff. and wanted to know if it would benifit me to swap it in the place of my 89 CRX si tranny?

The 98 ex tranny is Hydro!! It wont work unless you buy a hydro to cable conversion!! I dont think the gear sets will swap over i already tried it they are just a touch to tall. The trans case just wouldnt fit back on!!

It may not be the same for every trans and gear set but the ones i was using wouldnt work!!

 

Yea, I'm aware its hydro and ive already got the conversion for that from another project.

A SOHC hydro tranny is not gonna fit in a 88-91 chassis because of the rear mount.

Unless BG or KG at HASport wanna prove me wrong.
