Default ITR recarcos

I have black leather in my GSR and have seen a couple of type R's lately and one thing that caught my eye was the recarco seats. Are they comfortable and are they worth getting a set over my leather seats?

How much do these go for and where is a good place to find a set.

I would post this in another forum but figured you ITR guys would be more informative about it and help me out. thanks

if you have any pics of the recarcos in your itr, could you post them up

Are you refering to the stock US ITR seats, or the JDM Recaros? The only real difference between the US ITR seat and the GSR seat is the seat cover material. Stock US ITR seats sell for ~$600/pair JDM Recaros about double that.

Compare to the USDM Integra seats, the JDM Recaros are night and day difference. The price of a pair of used Black JDM Recaros are about ~$1200, red would be a bit cheaper and yellow would be more expensive.

The stock ITR seats own. I used to have a GSR and love those seats too. Just a tip, I would hang on to the gsr seats until you start seeing wear from the leather. I would spend the $600 on something else if your seats are in good condition.

I have heard that the stock USDM ITR seats also have a softer bottom cushion (I guess to compensate for the stiffer suspension) - is there any truth to this (I haven't driven a GSR lately, so I have no idea). I don't mind my USDM R seats, but the Recaros are definately superior.
