i hope everyone had a great yr at the track. my yr ended on a pretty sour note this weekend but overall i had an awesome yr. at our local 1/8th mile track i was the only "import" to qualify for super pro class (7.99 and faster on a 5/10ths pro tree). i took 4 placed finishes (2 1sts and 2 2nds) out of the 7 races i attended and i would have got first place overall if we went by who won the most rounds. we roll 3 dice during every drivers meeting and that determines our pts for the day. no matching dice means single pts race and 2 matching dice means double pts etc. i missed a double pts race and that put me outta the top position. either way out of the 12 races i attended in and out of town i placed in 5 of them so that in itself kicked ***. i pulled good ETs and lights all yr long and the car was real consistent so that always helps. yesterday in the heat i pulled 12.47, 12.47, and 12.48 in qualifying.

i broke my tranny casing twice woooohooooooo but i did finnaly run a 13.9 wooot woooot

 

i also had a great year with a big win and several semifinal rounds considering i am sponsered by my wallet like most of us here on h-t.

 

pretty good year here... met my goal (10.99 or bust, and didnt bust.. )

and I might even get out once more too, but its getting damn cold damn fast....

 

Im real happy with my year, even tho its not over yet. I just recently made my best pass this past weekend (see signature). I only broke 1 tranny casing and diff. 2 axles and 1 motor mount.

 

well lets see...

It started out good. I got my car turboed and hit the track to get 14.4 on 6lbs untuned with a misfire. Then i move up to a 9lbs spring and prepare to get my car dyno tuned. Car gets stolen. got the car back and am tryin to make it ready for this weekend because it's the last local import race of the season. I'm just waitin on a battery box and my new intercooler.

justin, how the hell do u break 2 tranny cases??? **** i broke 1 in the last 4 yrs of racing but only cause i hit something in the road.

 

one because iam retarded and the other one i have no idea, prob because iam retarded again and it was just coming back to haunt me after the last one, it sucks!

 

12nv......what is different about your set up now that you are 4 tenths slower than the time in your signature?

shitty track conditions + heat = sucks. yeah it was around 90 degrees outside and my car would burn the tires through first. usually it just hooks and goes. ****** hot *** track, slick as ****. the day b4 i was hittin normal times in the 1/8th mile at home.
o yeah justin, the car got its MPH back by shifting sooner, just like i hoped for.
