that 2mm head gasket kills your quench big time - put some real pistons in there and you have a long way to go power wise.

I got a 2.7 mm head gasket for my R from inlinepro and they said it only bring down my compression to 9.4 to 1.....how your go to 9.0?

ur right..if u see my page. ude see that i say 9.5:1..(still a lil off)
at the time that i made the page i wasnt quit sure what they had put in there..
And I was still a lil excited w/ the HP that was actually attained...
not long before that, they had told me it was gonna be approx. 9.2-9.5:1..
I havent asked the question since, & still dont have A definative answer..
Thats why there is no link to a manufacturer of the head gasket on my page...
and why the info on the gasket in the list of mods is left a lil vague...
Ill clarify as soon as i have all the info..and update the page..
There are links too Carboy Racing on my page and on Apexi's website..
contact them for all Technical & Dyno result Info.. ask for Jacky..

Can you elaborate on how the GSR GReddy turbo kit was modified? Is it the original TD05-18G turbo still? Bigger down pipe and ported manifold maybe? 300 whp @ 14 psi not bad, is that on pump gas or race gas?

very impressive.. how long have you had this kit for? have you run into any problems yet? what kind of headgasket are you using (brand)? how much power do you make at 8-10psi? As for the greddy kit, did everything bolt right up? what about the pipe that goes into the intake manifold did you have to angle it differently in order to fit? Overall what do you think of this kit running on an ITR?
thanks!

Where did you tap the oil feed line for the turbo?

The Greddy kit was modified by throwing away the piggyback ecu and the injectors that came w/ it..and replaceing them w/ An APEXi Power F/C and 440cc RC injectors and adding A Greddy Type-S Blow-off valve..The Blow-off Valve is behind the passenger side turn signal and not visable (its purple anyway).. Also I replaced all the blue hosing that came w/ the kit..w/ red...Looks better.. Im still using the TD05-18G w/ internal wastegate controled by a APEXi Super AVC-R boost control.. NOTE: I have edited the boost No's after Speaking w/ Jacky @ Carboy today (8-27) they still have the car... The correct No's are as follows.. w/ the boost control off im boosting ~9-10 psi.. (controlled by TD05-18G's internal wastegate capabilities).. w/ it turned on and set on low (currently not set at all).. ill be boosting 12 psi... Set on Hi Im boosting 14 psi..(currently set)..The car goes back on the dyno in the next few days to make this happen.. So ill have dyno sheets @ all 3 settings.. (more money)..I still owe $2,400 out of $10,300 in mods up too this point..It will take me a few weeks to pay it all off.. This gives them time too iron out all the lil things and make last minute changes.. Other than that.. Im still using all piping that came w/ the kit..And runnin pump gas...

you do know that the Power FC will control the AVC-R... you will lose gear based boost control but the Power FC with boost control uses a 3 bar map sensor instead of the Honda 2 bar sensor.

I thought honda sensor could only handle 14 psi..(1 bar)..
thats why im usin a skyline map sensor... although @ 14 psi...
it may not be neccessary..I have for future upgrades in boost
capabilities if i go that direction.. my block is stock at this time..
besides..i thinks its kinda cool that my R has a lil bit o skyline in it..
looks like u have a line on alot of jdm stuff.. hehe
