Transmission doesn't like to go into reverse, and often grinds when trying to shift into 2nd during hard acceleration. I know it is probly the synchros going bad, but has anyone ever changed them out and solved this problem? I use to work at a car dealership and even brand new cars don't go into reverse sometimes. Any thoughts?

cuz one of my friends is havin the same problems with his
and haved u tried different fluids thicker thinner
cuz i know sum civic guys u have done that with theres and it has solved the problems

 

I have a 93vtec, and I have changed the tranny fluid with the stuff Honda Sells... Made a little difference at first, but now it is back where I started

 

did u go wiht a thicker one or a thinner one?
