Default Which tires for street/track daily driver?

I have 18 inch wheels right now but will probrably be putting back on my stock gsr blades. I want to know which tires (sizes as well) would be best for me if I plan to put on a JRSC. I have heard many traction problems from the JRSC, which is why I would like to know which tires would be good for a JRSC'd gsr or just a gsr if i don't get a JRSC.

well, i prefer michelin pilots and bfgoodrich comp t/a's or g-force t/a's. but many people here cheap out on tires and get some that don't last long on the street but maybe grip a little better on the track. i like a tire that will last for a while, grip with the best of 'em, and do well in the rain. i know the ones i mentioned above will. but, again...they cost more. tires are very important to me. i've had a few blowouts at 75mph+ and things get scary and it was because the car had cheap yet grippy tires...they weren't on my car, luckily.

Thank you for your responses. I am on a pretty tight budget right now and I've found some Yoko AVS es100 tires for like $60/tire. How are they? What size am I suposed to get, 195,205,215? Thank you.

If you are getting 15's get 205/50/15 only a tad smaller than 195/55/15, and you get some extra contact patch.

I have heard nothing bad about the es100's, heard they are a great compromise between streetability and stickyness.

Sorry, but that is misinfo itself. The patch is really the same size, but the shape changes.
