tubular x-member
area 51 fabrications used to make a tubular rear(behind the motor)x-member.
they are out of business now
are there any fabrication shops making these?
if no one is making them , is there anyone that would be able to?
I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum but i figured that drag racers know more about fabricators than anyone else.
thanks in advance for any info?

i have been trying to get ahold fo them for 2 months with no luck. i would like to know how much it costs and availability. Its alot easier to put it in now while the motors out.
We're going to attempt to build them over the winter.. or shortly.. Just a matter of interest. If there's enough interest.. We'll start fabricating them.

Genius doesn't concern himself with legalities just weight savings. Besides how would they know no ones ever looked under my car to inspect the c member when I was teching

it isnt allowed in hot rod...
it is allowed in all motor, but there is a 75lb penalty for using it, so it is worthless to have it...
besides, the subframe that was made by A51 doesnt exist. the 1 in the picture was a prototype and they never corrected the design like they said there were doing...then they closed there doors...
