They sit up too high in a DC2.

Why is this thread here though? Nothing to do with DC2R related parts.

 

I'd like to know if they'd fit well. My friend is purchasing some sparcos or something for his EP3 and will give the stocks to me. I hope they don't sit up too high.

 

the eps wear doiwn as bad as the itrs, ours are getting shiny in spots already . . damnit

 

yea the seats are usper comfy, but i hate the material, just doesnt hold up very well . gets shiny when it wears, thats why i sold mine .
i got Tourinos in the R now. now im just apranoid about getting them dirty, lol

 

well i've been interested in throwing some itr recarcos in my gsr. but by reading this makes me think that its a bad idea. do they wear out quickly? my gsr leather is in mint condition and its the stock leather from my 95 gsr. just very well taken care of. should i stick with my leather or get some recarcos? i've also seen these SI seats in an integra. I think it looked pretty good even though I like the recarcos better. It did sit a bit higher then the stock seat height.

 

I have then in my car.. yes they do sit 1 inch higher
but im only 5.95 so its no biggy!

Slap in a set of S2k seats. They actually sit about 2 inches LOWER than stock!

 

those s2k seats are really nice.

The S2000 seats are 2" lower than the ITR ones. wow

 

man I would like seats to sit lower... but im only 5'6" so it would start to get hard to see over the wheel... eh but I like those s2000's, but I don't like slippery leather... they look really nice though

Thanks! Go to your local Honda dealer & sit in an S2k. I guarantee you will forget about the "slippery" part. You are literally hugged and locked in place. I absolutely LOVE my seats & can't even image going back to stockers!

 

yeah the sk2 seats are anything but slippery. i want to get a set for myself......just waiting for a nice pair for a low price

 

how does the s2k seats compare to a jdm recaro?
if the ep3 seats are 1" higher, that'd be equal to a jdm recaro, right?

this is what i would like answered too!!! what do u need to do to make them fit in the integra??

 

JDM Recaro's are about the same height as stock USDM ITR seats. Maybe a bit taller.

S2000 seats are ALMOST straight bolt in. The front 2 holes on the brackets are the same. The back 2 holes require drilling and customized fitting.

I have placed them in my DC2 and they are perfect!
