help vtec solenoid wont fit

hey i bought a vtec solenoid from a d16y8 and it wont fit my y8 head. all the bolts are like a millimeter off. Did the person sell me the wrong solenoid?

Seeing as a USDM D15 VTEC solenoid fit my JDM B18C, I'm sure you can manage to get yours to fit. Rotate, wiggle, do whatever and it'll end up going on and working fine.
