If it were JDM, then it would be reversed since they are RHD..

there not available anymore, and no dealers in the US have them. i work at liberty honda in hartford,CT. and believe me i searched.

 

I got the one witht he big pocket through an EDM parts finder.... I think I paid $80 shipped? It's worth it to me, though. Gets all my damn turbo electronics stuff off my dash.

 

One wonders why you guys didnt jsut do a CRX dash swap? You'd get the same / if not better console and a nicer dash. That's why I did mine

 

I just prefer the tegra console myself, i just bought one and havn't fitted it yet, so I dunno how its going to look. A few people told me it looks like *** when it is in. Any comments?

 

I have the same exact console in my hatch. I went to the junkyard and got it out of a 88-91 civic 4 door. it doesn't line up perfectly but I did get it to fit nicely. (by the way I am talking about the one smokinj's420 found)

 

EDM console is where it's at. Great big pocket to put stuff in, and it lines up perfect!

 

That "EDM" is what I have in my car. It came from factory on Special Ed. Civic's here.

I don't like that one. I find mine a good place for the cell phone.

 

The teg console fits pretty good, just use some self tapping screws to hold it on. There will be a little space between it and the heater controls, toward the firewall but hardly noticeable. Plus you get cup holders. ;D

88CiViC where did you get the console from?

 

Believe it or not, I got mine at Manchester Honda like in '97/'98 and paid $40. It's on my '90 Si.

you must have a decent size phone then. cause mine fits in the extra din, i usually put i there when charging it.

ebay. was missing ashtray when i got it. so i got a pretty good deal, and then traded a friend a momo shiftknob i had laying around for his ashtray of his 92 civics audio console

 

my middle console thing. where the e brake is. has a armrest/container + these big red Emergency strips on both sides near the seatbelt area.

is this normal??

you have a special edition civic too?? or did you just get it off of another one??
and yeah, my special edition came with the "EDM" console too.

 

If you guys are looking for one like 88civicDX has buy mine from me (the one on ebay) I have the ashtray and ciglighter with all the wiring and junk, plus the screws.

 

I have a small cell phone, its just a good place for it.

No I don't have a Spec. Ed. Read my sig. I got mine from work, brand new....

I also have the big red emergency whatever strips. And my lower console is kinda like 88Civic's, but a little different, lol, I can't really think of it right now. I'll try to get a picture and update my post. I have no clue what car either is out of, but most likely a Prelude or CRX because I have pieces of both cars all over my hatch....

 

its missing the armrest. my hatch has that console but with the armrest/ storage bin
