Best Tires street tires for all out grip.
Does anyone know when the BFG G-Force TA KD's are supposed to come out in a 15 inch model? I remember reading that it was coming out this summer, but I haven't seen any news of the tire lately. TIA

Yes it will be. I have a set of 205/50/15 G-Force KD's on my car from the SCC/BFG G-Force challenge couple of weeks ago.

Scorcher T/A's lol j/k I hear Toyo's aren't too bad, forget which model though sheesh silly me. Or get Yokohama A520's.

I have a set of S-03's on my 00-R, the grip is awesome, the traction in the rain is awesome but I think the RE010's handle better in the stock size. My car doesn't feel as balanced with the 205/50/15's on it now.. But if you want grip, the S-03's got it and a much longer treadwear than the RE010's.

If you don't mind the noise and really fast wear then A032s are a good choice. I recently got a set of S-03s and cannot say enough good stuff about them. To me they are better than the RE-010s and AVS Intermediates. The only down side is the cost. About $150/tire for 205s. I think Tire Rack had a deal going on the 195s for like $90/tire.
For all-out grip, I'd have to say Perelli P-Zero SYSTEM or Perelli Rosso's. Lottas money, and fast wear, but boy they really hang-on.

I think it handles perfectly fine with 205/50/15 S-03s, which I also have. What he may be feeling is the heavier on center feel of the wider tires. The car becomes a bit more stable, but resists turn-in a little more. The additional width gives more grip overall, and the sidewall is just as stiff as the 010s. The ultimate grip at the LIMIT is slightly down from the soft 010s, but not by much. An excellent tire.
Ultra grip: A032 or G-Force TA KD. Honorable mention:S-02, Pilot Sport

On my car at least, when I turn at speed ~ 65mph the car feels like the rear end is going to come around abruptly. With the 195's it handled very well, with the new ones I am not comfortable. It's a strange feeling like the front end bites so hard that the rear end will just break loose with no warning.
