uhm, 2 clips, one on each side of the rear seats, then a 10mm bolt for the bottom cushion, and some plastic snap-out clips. i'd say its worth your 5 minutes.

I really dont see the need, I ran my car back to back in the 1/4 14.13 @98.xxthen removed the rear seats and ran it about 30 min later, and 14.11 i think? @ 98.xx . i take them out when i road race, but only because i have a lot of junk to put in the back of the car, 4 tires, jack tools cooler and figure i would save the back seats from all of that stress and dirt..

It's a rather easy and painless process. I took mine out for the mere fact that I believe our car is made for only 2 people.

IMO it's not worth it because they weigh nearly nothing....but I guess if you don't want to give any rides.

You'll regret not having back seats when you meet 4 hot girls at a club and they all want to leave with you...

I agree w/ you on that one...

I refuse to allow backseat riders in the R for a few reasons...

a) too much weight makes the car a lot less fun
b) most people don't give two ***** about other people's property and are careless, don't want to deal w/ it
c) too much extra weight

i have a rear itr seat in my eg civic. the top bolted in, but the bottom i had to make L brackets to get it to fit. i personally like having a reaseat so i don't have to hear the buzz of the fuel pump.besides, they really are not that heavy .....

The fuel pump is not the only thing you hear in our cars...I mean there's no way ITR owners can be concerned about noise. But yeah, I also took them out to avoid having to give rides...

I dont see the need to remove the seat Unless alot more is stripped out of the car for racing purposes. When I say alot more I am talking about Carpet, plastic panels All stuff in the hatch area, rear wiper etc etc.
