which way do i turn my distributor to reterd it 2 degrees?

i'm going to spray a 65 shot of nitrous. and i need to retard my timing 2 degrees!
so, which way do i turn it? and how far?

you shouldnt guess, just go get a timing light.

turn it towards the front of the car...and a timming light will help with the rest.

ok! is there a good timing light thats not expensive?

and also, i heard something about setting my jumper wire before i adjust anything? where is my jumper wire? and how do i set it?
