Looking to do some sort of quick release set up for my front bumper. I've tried to find pics of the SSR system and can't find any. For those who made their front bumper quick release what have you used? Pics would be great. So far its either dzus or maybe the SSR if I find more info.

I used dzus fasteners on my car...
had some laying around the shop and decided to put them to use, i only have four of them on right now. Two on the top and two where the bumper bolts up to the fenders.
I need to add some along the bottom.
sorry the pics aren't to focused on the dzus stuff but you get the idea

 

Here's how our project CRX is setup.

Also: another pic of the old CRX that we did 3 yrs ago. we pretty much used the same setup on the rear of our new CRX

How did you secure the fastener to the car? Never worked much with dzus fasterners, and trying to see how mount then to the car in order to secure the bumper.

thanks, the color is monte carlo blue for the most part, just messed with the colors a little bit.

The dzus fasterners have recepticals that you use to secure the fastener.
Then you have to fab the mounts with the recepticals.

If you look inthe pics i posted, look right in between the headlights and there's one pic with the car apart and you look right behind the corner light and you'll see the mount/receptical

Your civic is just plain sick, with dzus fastener for street car and no radiatoru support...I have to give you mad props. If Only I am running a water/air IC
