sounds like you already know what your problem is,
look in the manual for the grounding locations.

i had a problem like that before...someone hooked up an aftermarket ground to my fuse box (one of the nuts that holds it in place) somehow i disconnected that and everythign worked fine. Dunno why, but grounds are super picky

iam about to go to a junkyard tommarow and pick up a in dash harness and use a obd0 to obd1 conversion jumper to try and fix it..(i didnt use it because it arived 2 months late and i was pissed so i started the conversion myself)...
everything else works ie/stereo,lights,fuel pump...it just wont turn over...the starter is right on the ecu b9 to b13 ...but it still wont turn over...damn i wanna break **** now...

bench testing the starter proved it good...but now iam thinking iam missing a trans ground because the starter is getting juice ...so it must be missing a ground..( hope it makes sense..but if anyone would hook it up with some info on those grounds it would be great..
