Default Sport Compact Car Challenge

Here is some info I found on another website.

Here are the results from Sport Compact Car's Ultimate Street Car Shootout. As with the pictures, this should not leave the board.

First, let me say this. Roy's DSM got 1st place on the road course. Yes, thats right, a 640whp AWD beat the race prepped viper. Then Roy blew a head gasket and could only muster a low 12 on the drag section running low boost. He got last in the gross display of HP due to low boost as well. All Roy had to due was run a 12.0 in the drag session and he would have gotten first overall. He ran a 12.4 on the blown headgasket and low boost. Scot Gray's black 1G ate a turbo and and still got 4th. He didnt even compete in the drag session Scot's car would have gotten second say all the judges had it not been for the failing turbo. Anyway, here are the results.

1) Axis 350 Z
2) Roy Gray 2G DSM
3) 800 hp Viper
4) NT Scot!!!!!! 1G DSM NT due to the blown turbo.
5) V-12 Ultima

Then: Broke stuff
Blowed Motor Skyline
V6 TT Audi
900 hp Supra
MR2 Turbo
Don't know where the BPFU Supra fit in towards the end there. This car was a turd

Drag racing was won at 12.3 by the Ultima
2nd was Roy at 12.4
3rd was the 800 hp Viper at 12.5ish

V12 Ultima?...what it running two engines?

The rest of it sounds like typical non-honda import reliability when it comes to drag racing......and away from a dyno

i would guess with a road race suspension setup, street tires, an assload of torque and a driver that probably doesnt drag race much= tire spin and lots of it.

Depends on track and altitude also. Street tires. HMM? What was the elevation of the track?
