Oxygen sensor removal.....
Whats the easiest way to take out the o2 sensor on a 93 civic ex? I bought the o2 sensor socket but it almost stripped the o2 sensor. Still has the notchs but not much left. I dont want to completly strip it. TIA!
those things are a bitch! i had my dad come try and get mine off, broke a snap on o2 tool, whatever the crap they are called, and it didnt even budge, broke my o2 sensor though! so i still need to get it off when i get my new one, i think im gonna take the heat shield off #1 (that will make it easy to get a grip one) and soak it down in penetrating oil.. hopefully that helps losen the sucker! let me know how yours works out, i will do the same
I removed the cover but havent tried any oil yet. I cut my wrist open on something and now I'm bleeding so I'm calling it a day. Anyone else have any suggestions?
