Hi, i'm installing a aem ems on my 2002 honda accord, but when i'm ready to set the ignition timing with a timing light the ecu seems to adjust automatically the ingnition.

I need a reference number to set correctly my ems either way the engine make weird noise, like backfire, so i wonder if their's a service mode like the older ecu version (obd1) and jump it??
