You mean a Base Prelude right? the 'S' model? Cause I'm pretty sure you don't own a Prelude Type-S

NO, you don't own a Type S, you just simply own the base model. The actual Type S is only offered in Japan, not here in the states. Do some research and see for yourself.

1) Your car is not a type-s
2) It's a base, somtimes referred to as an 'S' model but not a type-s

Let's move on. A manual tranny swap is a pain in the ***. I would recommend you sell the car and buy a manual before you attempt this crazy behaviour. Serious think about all the stuff you need from pedals to shift linkages to clutch/flywheel to slave cylinders shifter blahhhh just sell your car and buy manual.

just curious before any flames start, why do you think you have a type s? and ive been quoted 500 in labor for this job, and ive got 3grand in body mods, not to mention custom audio, and all the already installed mods which costed me thousands, why not just buy an awesome transmission and possibly a good lsd.

just got done with mine.
I used a jdm front clip from a 4th gen. just a few things that you need to custom make. if you do this the same way as me you need a 97 and up trany bracket 72.00 from honda and a longer clutch line from the master cylinder to the dampener I paid 50.00 for braided stainless steel and got the clip for 2800.00
but now I have all kinds of parts to sell. I'll awanser any Q's you might have.

I cant use private message

but you just take the small light blue wire form the ignition relay and ground it. if you want it to start with the clutch depressed than run one wire form the clutch switch to ground and the other to the light blue wire. if your on your back looking stright up at the dash under the steering wheel the relay is to your right and has 4 wires coming from it three big gauge and one small blue wire.
