Default quick question about the ground control upper mounts

i just got these and was wondering if i should even cut the new bumpstops that come with them, they are really soft.
i am installing them at the moment so a quick reply would be great
thanks

alright, ive decided im not using the gc bumpstops cause they are really sloppy on my shock (agx)
but another question, the washer ontop of the bumpstop wont fit inside the mount, and i dont want to run without a washer there cause it could split the bushing that goes around the top of the shock.

i found 2 washers in my garage that fit perfectly so i should probably use those, right?

Actually, I'm glad it's here cuz i was wondering what good those were after reading the DIY how-to for the home-made ones. It didn't seem to work since the bstops wouldn't fit into the mounts -so no extra travel. So they give you smaller bstops, huh? hmmmm....
