You won't believe what happened to my car last night
I was driving my car last night through a tunnel downtown, when I heard a loud knock come from my motor. I thought nothing of it, because it happened at the exact same time as I was shifting into 3rd. I keep driving, when all of a sudden, I hear this loud knocking noise coming from the motor. My friend(Slain) told me to pull over, so I had no choice but to pull over in the ghetto. I open my hood, and what do I see? My AC belt is tangled up, while the pulley that the belt rides on broke off! It was sitting there rattling around. Well, anyways, I get that car towed to my girlfriends brother's shop at like 9pm at night. Thank god he was working late. He took the belts out, and saw that the bolt that holds the pulley to my block fractured in half, causing the pulley to break loose. Luckily, he found a bolt lying around his shop that matched perfectly, and had me on my way in like 20 minutes. And, all he charged me was $20. Now, if I had taken this to the Acura dealership, for one, I'd have to wait a couple days probably, and two, they would have charged me a huge amount just to change a bolt.
And, the worst of it all was that it brought down my high.
I wasn't too upset though at first because that entire night I was already talking about buying this new LS bottom end that's built for turbo. It was being sold on partstrader, so, I didn't trip out or anything. I was more concerned about the part of town I was in with my pretty little fixed up Integra. lol.

I had that EXACT same thing happen to me! I just cut the belt off with a utility knife I happened to have in the car. I havent had AC for like 6 months now because of that. Tells you how lazy I can be
Thats crazy Chris...
Same EXACT thing happened to me. The pulley was making all kinds of noise, so I looked down and sure enough it was hanging off unbolted. I ended up just cutting the belt and taking off the pulley. This happened the other night.
F AC anyways...my girlfriend is the only one who uses it

this is crazy, it has to be a common integra problem becuase the same exact thing happened to me, i heard a loud noise coming from my engine pulled over and saw nothing at first than drove again and it got worse so i looked under the hood again and i saw my ac/power steering belt gettin eatin up. The pulley came lose and the belt went out of place. That happened two weeks ago and im still driving around with no belt on, im just as lazy too, ha

damn I remember that night sitting in the ghetto constantly looking over your back at the slightest noises lol. remember man those are low profile "rims" so we cant help you lmao !!!
No ****! The damn toll truck guy told me that AAA doesnt cover cars with aftermarket low profile rims and bodykits. Now, let me tell you all that my rims are 205/50/15's. That is the stock rim size that comes on integras. I tried to tell him that, but, the redneck was like "dem is low profile rims". He was missing a tooth in the front, and the tooth next to it looked like it was plated in copper. LOL. Then, I tried telling him that my bodykit is the OEM kit(which it is), but, he didn't believe me. *******! Well, anyways, he charged me $60 for towing a car that could possibly get damaged, even though it didn't suffer and damage, along with $2 for every mile he drives me. I was pissed.
When ppl saw ur car on the flatbed i bet they were thinking damn he got busted for racing lol. 420tegls we need to find a towing company that is enthusist approved and hopefully we wont run into "jimmy" lol
yea well me and my boi came up to my house right after smokin a dutch and come out...i have a flat and putting on a donut while high isn't fun either...i feel ya dude.

The same thing happened to me once, only instead of the A/C belt breaking, the tensioner pulley fell off and I had to cut the belt, no A/C for like 6 months!
wow, this happened to me last summer
in the rain of course
i didn't think it was common
that sob sheared right off and made lots of noise
i actually have a notch in that pulley from rubbing against the main pulley cluster

He wasn't even actually open. He was fixing his dad's transmission on his van, so, I took a chance and called him up. Brought my car in, 20 minutes worth of work, and he was done.
It helps when you've got connections.
