Im new to this site,and somewhat new to Honda's. I bouhgt a 89 crx and want a b series setup. as far as what combination works best for this particular car , im clueless.. i was thinking about putting a b18c1 block and a b16a2 head together, maybe itr intake manifold and itr headers. i know this would work but how practical is it and are there other options that would be better..money isn't the issue with me, its reliability without taking away from the performance. i don't know what trans to use, and i also wanted to know if that set up is worthy of a turbo. please educate me .

 

If money is not an issue, get a B18C1 or C5 motor and get the ITR tranny with the Hydro tranny conversion from Hasport....

 

Thanks for the advice, by the way would i have to drop the compression on either one of those to run around 10 pounds,, if so what is the safest amout of boost that i can force thru those motors., one more thing.. what is
difference between the c1 and c5 BLOCK ?
