What kind of gas mileage are you getting?
I drive relatively hard, in vtec a good amount.
With 3/4 highway driving, I get about 240 miles before the gas light comes on. (2000 R, stock) Maybe around 210-220 with 1/2 highway driving.
How many miles do most of you get before the gas light comes on??
Thanks! Just wondering how my gas mileage is.

I was almost the same.. i've dropped lower, but its time for a tune up anyways.

210 to the tank is not normal.
I average 31mpg mostly freeway driving and fill up the tank at 300-320 miles with two maybe three gallons left.

that's horrible. you should get your car looked at/fixed up. unless you spend every moment driving your car above 7K.

That is what I get about 210 a tank. Of course I do over 100 mph every day and I usually always go over 6k each shift
I drive my car like I stole it

Yeah, I think that would cause bad mpg.
Although I still think a lot of people just go by the gauge and dont actually calculate the amount gas used. If I just went by my gauge it looks like I get only 280-290 a tank which is like 21mpg.

Umm, we only use about 10 gallnos on average out of our 12 galolon tank. YOu are more likely getting 27-29 MPG which isn't bad at all.

Over the last 25k miles, I've averaged 29.6 mpg. Which is pretty good, but the fuel economy still sucks compared to my beaters (all stock) of the past.
'99 DX: 35.x mpg
'93 VX: 42.x mpg
'92 Si: 38.x mpg
And all these beaters used 87 octane, so the actual $ difference is huge.

on the Mobil 1 Syn ...i was getting about 25-26 MPG in the City ....and 30-32 on the freeway ....
now that i switched to Amsoil , i have gotten 32.1 MPG city/some highway driving ....and even a sprint to 120 mph of which i cruised at for a minute or so ...
(370 miles ~11.5 gallons~ = 32.1)
on 100% City driving ...bumper to bumper ..stop and go ....i filled up at 317 miles @ 10.4 gallons = 30.4 in the City ....
wooo wooo ....

very non-stock R, I got better mileage than I thought on the way to NOPI, crusing at 80-90mph on avg. about 230/tank with about a 1/8 tank left. I never let the gas light come on though. Im still running pretty rich though so I can probably squeeze more out of it. but with lots of vtak, gas mileage goes waaaaay down lol
If i drive normally, i get about 310-320 for highway driving on a full tank and around 260-280 for city driving. Im running i/h/e and Kenji's Ecu.
