That's one of the RSX Type-S flashes.

Ive been asking the same questions and the honest answer i have been getting is that it is not a noticable amount of power. I heard it is best if you like hi revving but from owners i have heard it doesnt make it faster. Perhaps better freeway driving because the higher rpm but i dont know. Its seems the 0-60 would be faster just because without hondata you cant get that fast in 2nd without redlining. Thanks keep me posted.

it doesn't alter the vtc point......it still engages at 2,200 rpm's for the k20a3 in the civic si.

it gives more power at real low rpms....and then extends the power pretty well I might say to 7,700 rpms....

I have the Hondata flash. I felt a gain throughout the entire rpm range. The car just pulls alot stronger even down low. As far as performance goes, I have not dyno'ed, but I did test at the track before/after. In the same weather conditions (HOT & HUMID +/- 5 degrees) I dropped a half second (0.5) and my trap gained 4mph. I ran 15.98 @ 85 before and 15.52 @ 89.4 after. You can now hit over 60mph in 2nd gear and finish the 1/4 mile in 3rd gear, unlike before.

well hondata doesnt work great with just hondata itself. If you already have mods on your car and then you add the hondata, there will be noticable gains.

The stock ecu retards the ignition timing when accelerating, the hondata eliminates this.

I have the Hondata reflash, it was my first engine mod and I noticed the difference right away. Then a few days later I installed an Injen CAI and wow, the car really woke up and pulls hard. Hondata kicks ***
