JRSC Video Madness
Here are FOUR, yes four, brand-spanking-new videos of the JRSC in action. You'll notice that the video clips have been digitized better this time (with brightness and contrast modified for your viewing pleasure) and that a new angle has been introduced (behind-the-driver's-head shot), so you too can feel what it's like handling such a beast.
And here they are, in no particular order:

http://iranman.d2g.com/jrsc2.mpg
http://iranman.d2g.com/jrsc3.mpg

(These files are in the neighborhood of 2.5megs and 10-15 seconds in length. Credit goes to my girlfriend for taking these shots)
As a backup, you may also use these links (they'll probably be faster than my stinking cable modem, but use up Schwett's bandwidth):

No times yet. You've seen the dyno: 213WHP
Someone's ran a 13.66 w/ bolt ons, and someone else w/ a stock kit has seen mid-high 5's in the 0-60 heavily influenced by traction. As you can tell by the video, low-mid 5's are easily attainable.
Disclaimer: These videos were done on a controlled road under the supervision of a professional driver!
There, happy?

well I wasn't sure until I saw these videos but now I am sure that I don't want an SC. It sounds like your sitting in the dentists chair every time you hit the gas. At least turbos are quieter. Besides, it looks like your car was taking a pounding.
all fast cars take a severe pounding. My car barks fourth at the track, and let me tell you, it grabs HARD and will toss around ANYTHING inside.
Now, on a lighter note, a proper turbo setup should be louder.
Plus BOV's are just cool. Sound shouldn't play an effect on what you want performance wise. If you want a sweet street setup, then get a SC. If you want power, and don't mind lag, then get a turbo. If you want to be able to runover Mustangs and then laugh cause you ahve the "same thing, four less cylinders", then go N/A.

it's interesting, a video will make things look a lot different than they really are. there's a video of a stock 911 turbo nailing it onto a very smooth freeway, and it looks like the car is about to explode.
i have a jrsc too, and it is extremely smooth. if you are not mashing the throttle, you probably wouldn't know it was there except that the pedal feel is a little different (probably because the throttle cable is attached to a bracket that is attached directly to the blowe
)
i have also ridden in a turbo lude, and it certainly wasn't any "smoother" than mine - just different.
