i think i saw that a while back, the only thing that pissed me off about that show is the stock dyno was like 130hp with I/h/e and wtih teh jackson it was only like 170's i think. Its like they have to puss the #'s so not to offend any viewers that may not be very *import friendly*

either that or they dont know how to tune for **** becuase with the setup on that car it should have made more power than it did. I agree though it was cool for them do actually show it.

they definitely can't tune for shyt if they got 130hp from an si with cam gears headers, etc. cause that would mean they lost some hp from stock.

That car was from knoxville, where i'm originally from, it was pretty cool, yeah, supposedly it was way faster than the tnn guys made it out to be. They guy that had it sold it and bought a s2000, some one in knoxville has the si now.

*update*
yeah, i talked to a friend of mine a minute ago, he said the guy that bought it tore it down and he said that the whole thing looked like it had been thrown together by a bunch of rednecks. He put it back togehter right and it's supposed to be running good now.

This car was not from knoxville originally(like it matters) but the owner of P and E (Tennessee Speed Sport) built this car cause he thought it might be cool to do. It was when the 99 Si just hit the streets and was super cool in its day. I worked there when they built it up (which was late 98 early 99) wo hoo. Anyways not that i care or am standing up for them just telling what i know. Oh and those TNN guys are choads. They shoot that show in a spot right behind our shop. I saw them awhile back and they were asking me 100 questions about vtec motors and if i made my carbon hood. Fun stuff.

Hey man, those guys are really good at what they do, so what if they don't know alot about imports. Look at it this way.....they get paid to do something they love! And BTW, they are really nice guys too, I know Dave (the big guy) personally and he is one of the coolest and down to earth guys I know.

EDIT: Nevermind I thought you guys were talking about Sam and Dave from Two uys arage, those too guys on the video ARE idiots!

i am friends with the owner you guys were talking about... it was jackson charged, and he redid the whole thing since it was on that show... I can get pics of how it previously was if you guys want?? currently the guy traded it in and took the charger off of it and returned it back to stock...he decided to trade it in and now he is currently cruising around in a stock eg hatch ..

Yes the Jackson charged si was mine. The guys on HP TV totally screwed the install up. When I pulled the charger from the intake manifold they had the gasket on sideways restricting air flow. I found several other things they had installed wrong. As 93civEJ1 said it is now gone. I took it back to stock and traded it. The last I heard it was somewhere in Alabama. It was fun while I had it. I added the boost upgrade and an act 6 puck clutch and extreme pressure plate. The clutch made all the difference in the world. Maybe I can get the guys at Horse Power TV to do the build up on my hatch. (checks to see if hell has frozen over)
