Default last day of the year o2 prob should i go for it?

2 months later. wednesday was rained out. today is the last day.
i have the main heated o2 sensor going south.
will this merely be the car not going to full potential or can i potentially damage something?
thank you,
regards,
m.a.d.

maybe he is talking about running a "street night" at his local track and wants to know if running with a bad o2 sesor is worth it.

holy shi$ thanks for the help.
going south means it is going downhill. in other words it's starting to go bad. in other words the scanner says that the sensor is not functioning properly.
it is the main oxygen sensor.

i have been wanting to go to to the dragstrip for 2 months and finally have my car ready. the last 2 days of racing was wednesday and today.
so that means if i don't go today that's it.
i wanted to know if it is ok to run the car at the dragstrip with a faulty oxygen sensor. the iquiry was in regard to the cars performance versus damage.
if i run it with a bad sensor will it just not run to the full potential or am i liable to hurt something.
it doesn't matter cause we got rained out today.
thanks
have a nice day.
