Default which way to go????

ok so i have I/H/E on my crx si now i got like 1500/2000 to spend and ive been playin with the idea of either a rebuild and cheap turbo setup or a rebuild nad like 75 shot n2o...what are most people runnin and what will i c more out of for the money i have now...o and for n2o what kinda setup am i lookin at ie compression....stuff like that

you could do a ZC or B18 for that much. prolly be much better than a rebuild if you're still on your stock motor. and if you're going to do turbo better to do it right than do it cheap. just my opinion.

My vote would be for a mini-me or the ZC, your boltons will swap over. Plus youll still have money for some n2o unless you decide turbo.

ya maybe a mini me,if i do that do i need convert to obd 1 and how hard is the wiring for somthin lke that, and ive heard they can be tough tt tune right how true is that??....the only thing about hte zc is im prollu lookin at a motor with pretty high miles tho from what i here.

mini-me can be had for a lot cheaper than a ZC. ZCs are usually 400-600 plus 150-ish for shipping on ebay. at least that's what I've found. a sohc vtec head will be more like 200-ish. cheaper if you find one at a junkyard yourself in good condition. I'd suggest the Z6 head. the Y8 can lead to some compression issues since it bumps the CR up higher than the Z6. the Z6 requires some cutting of the dizzy, but you don't have to worry so much about detonation.

as they mentioned, your bolt-ons will swap right over. and you can use all the extra cash for n20 or more bolt-ons. or better yet, a really good set of tires.
