I've done some searching and someone posted that the collector size is 2.5"

Is this correct? Can I swap this header with a JDM ITR header without and problems? Is it even worth it?

2.5" 4-2-1 I thought, maybe 2.25" though, not sure honestly. not as tiny as the USDM one

 

Its 2.25" OD but ID is only 1.75", its double walled. I have a JDM GSR and run a DC JDM 4-1 into the stock cat, it seals pretty good even though the DC donut gasket is slightly bigger than the cat inlet flange.

That depends on what your fitting it to? If you fitting a DC JDM to a stock GSR cat, then no it wont fit, if its to a stock JDM cat then yes it will fit!
