Default Necessary to wash car again after waxing?

I was just wondering if it is necessary to wash the car after you have gotten done buffing the wax from the car? Also, do you have to wash your car after clay barring when your going to move onto waxing? Any help is greatly appreciated!

spray down car make sure getting all dirt and dust, then wash it with a wash mit or soft cloth, chamois it off, clay bar it, apply any swirl mark remover, polish , then wax it. No need to re wash it. sounds like hard work but after your paint will feel like glass

don't use that clay bar all the time man. rub your hand on the surface of the car after washing it. if it's not smooth then yeah go ahead and use it. you shouldn't be using it more than three times a year though.

When polish is applied, don't waste time and the effects by buffing right after. You must wait at least 30 minutes for the oils to soak into paint. I can't stress this enough. Many people forget.

i dont know about the letting the polish sit for 30 minutes, mequiars recommends removing the polish very quickly, they say polish one section and remove the polish before starting another section, they say that the polish doent need to dry like a wax............... i personally havent tried the 2 methods this is just what was in the tip section of the mequiars email i got a couple of days ago, i would recommend everyone sign up for their mailing list......... good stuff, later

Can someone give me some info on how to use the clay bar? I have half of one(meguiars), that I bought about a year ago, but I don't remember exactly how to use it. TIA..

1. Wash and dry car.

2. Fill a spray bottel with car was soap & water solution as lube (if it does not come with it.)

3. Spray on surface.

4. Rub bar lightly in liner fashion.

5. Rotate and ned the clay to get a clean spot when dirty.

6. Repeat steps as needed.

7. Wash and dry again.

8. Wax/polish etc.
