Default Finally found a way to put 4 piston on 11" rotor

Yes boys and girls if you stick with it long enough and choose the last rotor in the catalog, it will fit.

So I have managed to install an 11" rotor on the Intgera knuckle with 2 different style 4 piston calipers, under a 15" wheel. It is a simple install, once you remove the dust shield.

I will be able to offer this package for approx $650 retail.

Here are the specs:

11" x 1.1" thick rotor (same as the NSX)
4 piston calipers
adapter brackets
brake line adapters
hub centering rings

I'm having the brackets made next week and will start taking orders on Sept 10.

Be aware the rotor does weigh more than the stock Teg, but since the caliper weighs less, the overall weight savings is still around 4-6 lbs per wheel.

And if anyone can warp a rotor with this kit I'll replace it for 1/2 price.

Sounds great! So are you saying these will work under stock 15" Integra wheels?

i assume this is only for the fronts? If my assumption is correct - what is reccommend for the rears since the breaking power will be so much more superior in the front?

of course its for fronts only.
Fastbrakes has a 11.4" rotor with a caliper relocation bracket for the rears to help you balance the car out.
And the 4 piston only improves brake feel, not force.
Increased braking performance is achieved with the larger size 11" rotor/bigger caliper+pads

I just test fitted a 95 GSR wheel and the caliper will had to be slightly trimmed to clear. I'll try to tweek the bracket to lower the caliper just a bit. Other than that it looks good. I have a pic if someone wants to see the test wheel with rotor/caliper assembly. I'd post but I'm computer lame...

Brian:

Is your 11.75" 4 piston kit still in the works for those teg owners who have 15" wheels?

You mentioned $650 retail for the 4 piston 11" kit, any discounts for HT members?

I'm still planning on the 11.75" kit for those that want the biggest rotor they can fit inside a 15" wheel. I'm not sure when production will start, hopefully within the next 30 days. I have all the specs done, it's just a matter of raising capital to have the rotor hats made...

The 11" 1 piece rotor with 4 piston caliper kit will be $570 for H-T members. I'm having the brackets made next week, so it should be available by Sept 10.

Im sorry if this post is a bit ignorant, but the 11'' rotor is only for the front? and if so is it 570 for the pair? will these much larger rotors really effect the brake feel and performance of the car? and if i were to get these brakes in the front what would i get in the back, and how much would they cost? Thanks a lot
Peace
MacLean

hey MacLean, I have the 11" itr upgrade up front already on my GSR,
the 11.4" rear upgrade is on the way.... drumroll please......... and I am also in Rochester.
when I get my car back next week from the body shop you should give it a drive.... you will crave the upgrade after one try behind the wheel.
hit me with an IM, email or phone call (328-7044).

I give the H-T members a good discount whenever they mention they see it on the board. Since my retail prices are far and away the most reasonable of anyone selling brakes, the prices I post for H-T menbers is the best I can do. I still need to make a few dollars, or I wouldn't be able to keep coming up with new and exciting products

I tried the groupbuy.com a while back and didn't sell anything to speak of in the month I had stuff for sale, so I don't really want to try another one right now...

Let me just say thank you to you Brian. My name is Dan, you spoke with me tonight, I am extremely impressed with the fact that 1.you called me back on the same day 2. You called me back a 8:45 P.M. and 3. Your prices ae the best around, I couldnt buy 2 set's of Endless pads for the price that your selling your 11 inch kit for.

I just felt the need to say this because what I experianced made me VERY happy to be a consumer. I will definately be buying my brake upgrade from fastbrakes.
