I work at an independent shop in GA that does a lot of routine maintenance and swaps, builds, etc. on cars that are in the 1988-2000 year model range.

A customer called me today and asked me what type of options he had for his 03 Accord LX 4cyl. My honest answer was "I'm not really sure since we seldom see those yet because they are still under warranties for the most part" so I thought I'd check in here to see what you guys could offer me.

I *think* the car has the K24A engine if I remember correctly, which I told the customer that if this is the case an RS-X Type S head swap and Toda cams package could yield him some V6-like power.

If anyone here owns an 03 Accord, could you at least give me some rundowns on the engine stuff and what bolt-ons are currently avaiable if possible?

It depends on which motor? 4 cylinder, intake by injen. No exhaust available yet...

So it is the K24A, correct?

 

its definately a k24, but i cant remember if its a k24a or k24a2. but anyway, there are few things out right now. injen and aem both have intakes, eibach has some springs, and there might be a magnaflow exhaust, or a few others. but like i said, not much is out yet. as far as the head swap stuff, im not sure what kind of gains are being had, but i've deffinately heard its pretty good. also, there is a similar thread here on ht. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=628262
