How hard is a 93 civic dx motor to put into 89 crx dx..
I have a 93 civic dx motor that I want to put into my 89 crx dx.. Is this a bolt in operation or is there more to it.. I am planning on using the 89 crx dx transmission on the 93 dx block.. I know I have to do the mpfi conversion but are there any other problems with this.. Also will the distributor from a 91 crx hf work on the 93 dx motor for the mpfi stuff.. Thanks
The swap is pretty much straight foward like you said you need to wire up the mpfi and then everything else should be bolt in I am not sure but I dont think that dizzy will work someone else will have to answer you on that one
good luck
good luck
Why wouldnt it work.. Do you mean that it wonlt bolt on or electronically it wonlt work.. The hf dizzy is setup for mpfi.. Also will the 89' dx tranny bolt on to the 93 dx motor..
