Yes, custom axles.
Go to http://www.Hasport.com
I'd say you would get the best info from them.

I go by the belief that I'd rather bust the axles than the diff. The stock diff is weak, so if the axles are super strong, then you're more likely to break the diff... IMO. That's one of the reasons I'm still running the cheapest damn axles $$$ can buy - with a lifetime warranty (and I'm on my sixth set, yay).

Thoughts?

yeah but raene, its no good if you cant even get off hte line because your breaking stock axles left and right. my other friend with a b16 rex put slicks on his stock axles, busted them on the launch. stock is just too weak

If you’re snapping stock axles with a B16 then you have the wrong axles, motor mounts or something. Thousands of people have used stock axles to go a lot faster without any problems.

Interga axles should be fine with Interga Intermidate shaft.

yes but the LS might snap axels I had a friend who snap axels with his LS all the time because of this torque I guess.

Well, it's your choice. If you upgrade the axles the diff is by far and away the next weakest part of the system. What would YOU rather break, a diff or an axle? I have not, and will not touch upgraded axles with a 10' pole before I get a Quaife unit installed.

<---- Running stock 90-93 reman'd integra axles from checker auto parts with a lifetime warranty on them. $110 for the pair. i got them to price match a ficticious company.

raene - so if you are running lsd with some upgraded axles you won't tear up your diff?

thanks

The only LSD I'd personally trust with upgraded axles is the Quaife unit. B-series cable transmissions have other problems, namely synchros, but the Quaife has a lifetime warranty against breakage. The stock LSD in the YS1 units is actually quite weak or so I hear.

If you want the safest launches get a Quaife with the upgraded axles. If you want to worry about not blowing your tranny, get crap axles - you'll snap them more but who cares? They're cheap and have a lifetime warranty! Just buy 2 sets and change them out when you snap 'em
