Default how many washers to correct camber in the rear?

My car is lowered 1.5 in the rear. I hear that you should have 1 washer per inch dropped. So how many should I use? 1 or 2?

i have some slipstreams and kuhmo ecsta supra tires...205/50/15's. Its not too much camber, but its enough that i notice a sleight wear. Also it is lowered with h&r sport springs and kyb agx shocks.

I'd use one, check the camber angle, then adjust as needed.

i have the same setup as you. i used about 4 small washers each side, i tried one, but it didn't really seem to change anything.

it all depends on the washer thickness, and how bad your camber is. Cars are all a little different. You just have to try one and if that isnt enough, try 2 and so on.

Yeah I put two 3/8", helped significantly but now I have a shitty grinding noise coming from the rear. So I guess I'll have to do the logical thing and raise my car up some

with four washers, my camber is still quite a bit negative. i haven't had an alignment yet so i don't know the specs, but i used the 2x4 and a level and it's still neg.

careful of what you use also.

I would get actual shims instead of general washers

Get camber kits. Easier and faster to adjust and more reliable according to West End.

what you can do is get a flat 2"x4" piece of wood... then add a few washers... hold up the wood FLAT against the wheel and pull out a level...
