Default AEM CAI

I need to prove to somone that my type R aem intake will fit on their 94 nonvtec ls because he doesnt believe. I searched in archived for a while but couldnt find much. Can someone please post and help me out. Thanks

its different you can even look by model numbers also itr throttle body is bigger

...i'm the guy he's trying to prove it to. I'm skeptical because he's tryin to sell me an AEM CAI, and i wen to the AEM site. The CAI for the type-r is like $40 more than the non-vtec CAI. Not to mention, every intake company makes separate CAI's for vtec and non vtec (and he's trying to sell me a type-r vtec cai for my LS non-vtec...). Just where i'm coming from....

it will fit just if you really need that 3" intake for your non vtec or not

I have an AEM CAI for an LS (non-VTEC) and it is for sale. The ITR one will fit, you will just need to work with it a little to get it to tighten up on the LS throttle body.
And what GettaluvR is saying, is do you really need a 3" intake for an LS?
